What is an AI employee?

An AI employee is an AI agent with a defined role (for example a research analyst or a content manager) that does the tasks it is given using tools, can hand work to other employees, and waits for human approval on risky steps.

In short, a chatbot answers a question; an AI employee delivers a piece of work. When several AI employees work together under a manager's plan, you have an AI team.

Chatbot, AI agent and AI employee

  • Chatbot: answers what you ask. You steer every step and put the result together yourself.
  • AI agent: plans its own steps toward a goal and uses tools; it searches the web, writes files and acts in an app.
  • AI employee: an agent with a defined role, skills, tool permissions and rules. What it can do, and what it can't do without approval, is clear.
  • AI team: a setup where a manager turns the goal into a plan, employees hand work to each other and results are checked.

What makes up an AI employee

  • Role and responsibility: what work it does and what it answers for.
  • Skills: knowledge of how to do that role's work.
  • Tool permissions: which tools it may use, such as web search, image generation or GitHub.
  • Memory: brand knowledge, earlier work and decisions in the workspace.
  • Rules and approvals: human approval for steps such as publishing, merging, spending and deleting.
  • Budget limit: the most a job may spend.

How AI employees work together

In LyngL you tell the Manager your goal. The Manager decides which departments and employees are needed, orders the tasks, starts the ones that can run in parallel at the same time and marks the steps that need approval. Employees hand work to each other, and results are checked before they reach you. You watch all of it in the Living Office, with the team at work in an office.

Every workspace starts with a ready team:

  • Atlas (research analyst), Aria (product manager) and Nova (creative director).
  • Codey (full-stack engineer), Quinn (QA engineer) and Forge (DevOps engineer).
  • Mira (growth strategist), Echo (content manager), Lumi (video director), Pixel (media producer) and Max (ads manager).
  • Iris (data analyst), Sage (support specialist) and Otto (operations coordinator).

What they do well, and where a human is needed

AI employees are strong at research, drafting, content and image production, writing code, reporting and repetitive work. They shorten production work that would take hours, and they work whenever you need them.

Decisions that can't be undone should stay with people: spending money, publishing, going live, deleting data. AI can also make mistakes, so important figures and claims need checking. That is why LyngL puts these steps behind approval by default, enforces budget limits as hard ceilings and records every step in the audit log.

Will it replace my staff

AI employees add the most capacity where you can't build a separate team: social media content, research, reports, documents, code. Customer relationships, strategy and the final decision stay with you and your team. Used well, your team spends less time on repetitive work and more on decisions.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is an AI system that plans its own steps toward a goal and uses tools: it searches the web, writes files and takes actions in apps. An AI employee is an agent with a defined role, tool permissions and approval rules.

How is an AI employee different from a chat assistant such as ChatGPT?

Chat assistants can also use tools and work step by step. The difference is that the work is organized as a team: roles and departments, handoffs between employees, checked results, approval rules, a hard budget limit and an audit log. In LyngL you state the outcome, and the Manager plans how the work runs.

Are AI employees safe?

In LyngL each workspace is isolated, credentials are stored encrypted, risky steps wait for approval and every step is recorded in the audit log. Where your data is processed, and by whom, is explained on the Security and KVKK page.

How much does an AI employee cost?

In LyngL you start on the Free plan with no credit card. Usage is measured in credits, and the most a job can spend is shown before it starts. Plans are on the pricing page.

Do AI employees work in Turkish?

Yes. LyngL's interface is in Turkish and English, and the team writes in the languages and markets you set for each workspace.
